Professional Display Solutions division has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Engineer. This is a remote, field-based technical sales support position supporting the Mid-Atlantic region. Ideal work-from-home candidates will be located in North Carolina or South Carolina. The Sales Support Engineer serves as the primary technical resource supporting Sony Professional Display Solutions Account Managers, reseller partners, system integrators, consultants, distributors, and end-user customers throughout the territory. The Sales Support Engineer is responsible for driving technical engagement and providing pre-sales and post-sales support for Sony's Professional Display Solutions portfolio, including BRAVIA Professional Displays, Business Projectors, Crystal LED (CLED), PTZ Cameras, Digital Signage solutions, cloud-based display management platforms, and emerging analytics and IoT technologies. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include conducting customer demonstrations, technical presentations, product evaluations, proof-of-concept testing, product training sessions, and solution workshops. The Sales Support Engineer will collaborate closely with Account Managers to identify technical requirements, develop winning solutions, overcome competitive challenges, and support opportunities through the entire sales process. Additional responsibilities include providing post-sales technical support, assisting with system configuration and deployment guidance, supporting firmware and software implementation activities, and coordinating escalation of technical issues to Sony service and engineering organizations when required. Other critical responsibilities include gathering competitive intelligence, identifying market trends, providing product performance feedback to Product Management and Marketing teams, supporting strategic initiatives, and participating in trade shows, customer events, roadshows, demonstrations, seminars, and industry conferences. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline required; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting professional AV, display, collaboration, networking, or IT solutions. Strong technical knowledge of AV, IT, networking, cloud-based platforms, Digital Signage, and display technologies. Demonstrated ability to conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions. Experience supporting pre-sales solution development and post-sales technical customer success activities. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, AV-over-IP technologies, and connected device ecosystems. Strong written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other productivity tools. Ability to lift and transport demonstration equipment up to 45 pounds. Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Preferred Skills CTS certification. CompTIA A+, Network+, DSCE, CCNA, or equivalent certifications. Experience working for a professional AV manufacturer, distributor, consultant, or systems integrator. Experience supporting direct-view LED, Digital Signage, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise display technologies. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM. Experience supporting Education, Corporate, Government, Healthcare, Retail, Transportation, or Large Venue vertical markets. Consistent track record of exceeding company expectations and delivering exceptional technical customer support. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ 63,120 to $ 84,161 . The actual base salary offereddepends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position,years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
