Job Title: Freelance Salesforce Developer (1-Year Contract)

Location: Belgium (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions that enhance our business processes and user experience. In this role, you will collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Architects, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and innovative applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Platform tools. Your expertise will drive automation, integration, and digital transformation within our Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Design and implement custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules to meet business requirements.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, or third-party APIs) using RESTful APIs, SOAP, or Salesforce Connect.
• Optimize existing Salesforce configurations for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Create custom Lightning components and Lightning pages to enhance the Salesforce UI/UX.
• Implement automation using Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Salesforce best practices.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators to ensure smooth deployments and user adoption.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support to ensure solution quality.
• Ensure Salesforce security and compliance (e.g., role-based access, data encryption).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect).
• Knowledge of Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and automation tools.
• Experience with Salesforce CLI and VS Code for development and deployment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce security models (Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles).
• Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or Marketing Cloud (optional but beneficial).
• Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce Administrator are a strong plus.

Languages

• Fluent in English (required for collaboration).
• Fluent in French or Dutch (required for client/stakeholder communication).
