Reporting to the Manager, Sales Enablement and Practice Management the Salesforce Specialist is a member of the Empower Sales and Service Enablement Team who partners with sales and service leaders, to provide reporting, dashboard updates and efficiencies for the Regional Sales Directors, Internal Sales Directors and RM teams utilizing Salesforce. This role serves as a strong, hands-on technology leader on the Sales and Service Enablement team. Responsible to help shape our next generation application platform. The primary focus is on driving sales and retention with solutions in Salesforce. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Partners with leaders and trainers to ensure training and understanding of necessary skills and technology (classes, utilizing resources, monitoring, mentoring, coaching, gathering feedback) for associates on Salesforce Leads others to solve complex problems and advises functional areas with proposed solutions and best practices. Networks with key contacts outside own functional area and influences others in area of specialty. Has the ability to explain difficult concepts and influence. Participates with teams that solves complex and sometimes unusual problems that have may have a significant financial impact on the company. Project Management and expertise working on solutions in the Salesforce platform for the Sales and RM teams. Partners with the leadership to identify the needs of the sales and service teams and provide training to the sales and RM teams. Compiles, executes and distributes weekly and monthly sales or RM reports for internal and external sales and/or RM teams, well as any ad hoc report requests. Ensures reports include all pertinent information needed to track the Divisional Vice-Presidents and Relationship Manager activity from inception to closure. Additional projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Business, Marketing or Communications Degree preferred or relevant years of experience Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred. 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred. Must be able to work on a variety of assignments and have the flexibility to switch gears based on changing priorities and deadlines, adept working with multiple systems. Strong communication skills, proven presentation skills. Experience with project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel required, Salesforce.com, Dataloader a plus. This job operates in a professional office environment.
