SAP ABAP US Payroll Developer (EC Payroll) - US based

AKT is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Payroll Developer to augment an existing delivery team supporting SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (EC Payroll) for US payroll. The role focuses on technical development, troubleshooting, enhancements, and support of payroll-related customizations. This full-time, remote and client-facing role is open to employees or freelancers, for candidates based in the US. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP objects supporting SAP EC Payroll Troubleshoot and debug payroll-related technical issues Develop and support payroll reports, interfaces, forms, and custom programs Support payroll enhancements, upgrades, and technical testing activities Collaborate with functional payroll consultants to implement business requirements Participate in issue resolution and production support Job Requirements: 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including SAP Payroll Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (EC Payroll) Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in SAP Payroll Experience with payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, exits, BAdIs, and payroll-related enhancements Experience with HR clusters and payroll reporting is an advantage Strong communication skills and fluent in English Personal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English; comfortable presenting to HR, Finance and IT stakeholders at all levels including executive sponsors.
