SAP Basis Consultant/ RISE Administrator

The Opportunity As an SAP Basis Consultant & RISE Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimisation of SAP systems, particularly for our Life Sciences clients. You will be trusted to deliver expert guidance, addressing complex challenges and driving technical excellence with a focus on S/4 HANA Cloud ERP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). What you will be doing · Managing SAP system operations, including installations, upgrades, and daily administration, to ensure optimal performance and functionality of S/4 HANA and other SAP platforms. · Providing expert advice on architectural solutions, including the integration of BTP services, customising approaches to align with client goals and best practices. · Collaborating with Life Sciences clients to deliver large-scale SAP implementations, ensuring alignment with industry-specific requirements and leveraging the latest in S/4 HANA and BTP. · Addressing security challenges with robust authorisation concepts to safeguard critical SAP systems. · For clients implementing RISE you will helps Program Management effectively benefit from the SAP RISE Service: o Smart technical design & decisions o Plan & guide RISE set up considering timings and SLAs; monitor & communicate with teams o Enter the requests to RISE o Perform the technical tasks not covered by SAP o Cost effective management of the chargeable services · Driving innovation by staying ahead of emerging SAP technologies, particularly in BTP, and identifying opportunities to enhance Tenthpin’s service offerings. Your Experience We are looking for a technically proficient professional with: · Experience range: 12 to 18 years · Strong expertise in SAP systems administration, including S/4 HANA and integration with BTP services. SAP RISE Operations: o Lead the setup, migration, and administration of SAP systems in RISE with SAP environments. o Collaborate with SAP and hyperscaler partners to monitor SLAs, coordinate provisioning, and manage service requests. o Ensure compliance with SAP RISE operational frameworks including security, governance, and service continuity. o Support hybrid system landscapes with integration between RISE-managed and on-premise SAP components. SAP BTP Administration: (Good to have) o Administer and support BTP subaccounts, entitlements, and multi-environment setups (Neo, Cloud Foundry). o Configure and manage Cloud Connector, Identity Authentication Service (IAS), and Integration Suite. o Enable BTP services for application extensions, integrations, and workflows tied to S/4HANA (cloud and on-premise). o Implement DevOps best practices for deployment and monitoring of cloud-native SAP applications. · A solid understanding of security and authorisation concepts, with experience in OS-level and database administration. · Proven experience in delivering complex SAP projects, particularly in Life Sciences industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical devices. · Familiarity with SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its application in enhancing business processes. · Experienced in Administrating the setup of a RISE or Grow Cloud ERP and ideally certified, or certainly keen to gain certification, in the following: o RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition Onboarding Fundamentals or equivalent. o C_DBADM SAP Certified Associate - Database Administrator - SAP HANA Why Tenthpin Tenthpin is a global consulting and technology boutique dedicated to the Life Sciences industry.
