SAP Basis Specialist

Responsibilities: • Responsible for the transition of SAP application servers to in-house operations, as well as for SAP Basis administration. • Define future SAP application services in close cooperation with business stakeholders. • Standardize, harmonize, and document the SAP application landscape, and coordinate related activities internationally. • Implement and support SAP Basis-related application projects. • Coordinate with internal teams responsible for hardware, operating systems, databases, virtualization, IAM, networking, SAP security, and SAP authorizations. • Advise and support business partners and functional departments. • Manage operational requirements, user support, enhancement activities, and projects within the assigned SAP area, as well as coordinate external service providers. Requirements: • Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification. • Experience in the implementation, operation, and monitoring of SAP Basis systems. • Strong motivation to establish and further develop in-house SAP Basis application operations and project support capabilities. • Business-level written and spoken English proficiency. • Proactive, technology-driven, and creative mindset. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel.
