About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BTP Developer to join a dynamic international team delivering enterprise SAP solutions. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity for English-speaking professionals based in Poland. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative applications and business processes using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Key Requirements

• Proven hands-on SAP development experience with a strong track record of successful project deliveries.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and its core services.
• Strong proficiency in SAPUI5/OpenUI5 development, including responsive UI design and modern front-end development practices.
• Solid experience with the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework, including data modelling, service implementation, and OData services.
• Proven expertise in SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA), including workflow design, process configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with Git, modern development tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud-native development principles and microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Must be based in Poland and have the right to work as a freelance contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern, responsive SAPUI5/OpenUI5 applications following current UI/UX best practices.
• Design and implement business logic using the CAP framework, including data services and OData APIs.
• Configure, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA).
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with coding standards, design patterns, and SAP best practices.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
• Work closely with architects, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and release activities.
• Support deployments, production issue resolution, and ongoing platform improvements.
• Keep up to date with the latest SAP BTP technologies and share knowledge across the team.
