Santander Consumer Finance focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

Santander Auto Software is looking for a remote SAP BTP Engineer

Santander Auto Software is a fully remote software team within the Auto-Finance Domain of Santander. Working with ownership and autonomy, we’ve built from scratch, a state-of-the-art global software platform and product suite that is being rolled out across Europe. As part of our SAS Technical Finance Team you will work together with Product Managers and SAS tech teams, reporting to our Engineering Manger for Core Operations. You will be responsible to evolve, expand, and maintain our SAP RISE and SAP/HANA cloud instances.

You will contribute to expand our current SAP features to new countries, adding new functionality (new accounting events, new integrations, new reports, new validations), and participating E2E from business definition to implementation, validation, rollout, and production support.

We are looking for a SAP BTP Engineer with a solid background in multiple SAP components. This role requires working and knowledge of SAP RISE, SAP BTP, SAP ABAP, FIORI, BASIS and Cloud Integrator, and SAP standard reports.

Professional Experience

• SAP BTP administration and governance: BTP Cockpit, global accounts, directories, subaccounts, entitlements, qotas and resource allocation.
• SAP Cloud Connector (Subaccount connections, certificates, and troubleshooting)
• BTP Security (IAS/IPS, OAuth 2.0, SAML, Role Collections)
• SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, iFlows, REST/OData/SOAP, mappings, exception handling, monitoring and reprocessing. )
• API Management (Creating, publishing, and managing APIs)
• SAP and non-SAP integration: practical experience with REST, OData and SOAP, plus JSON/XML payloads. Either S4hanah on prem or private cloud
• Productive operations and financial integration: logs/traceability, reconciliation/reprocessing, transport management , alerts
• SAP HANA Cloud (Database management and modeling)

Desirable:

• Hands on Basis Experience - particularly S/4HANA technical administration, certificates and trust, HTTP services, SAP Gateway, SOAMANAGER, SM59, SICF
• SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
• SAP Build (Low-code/no-code application development and automation)
• Open Connectors (Integrating third-party, non-SAP apps)
• Groovy Script / JavaScript (Used for complex mapping in integrations)
• Experience with CAP Cloud Application Programming Model : Node.js or Java
• Cloud ALM and Event Mesh
• And eager to learn more about SAP!

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
