Your Profile & DNA:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW / BI Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW, BW Workbench, LSA architecture, ABAP, BusinessObjects WebI, and Analysis for Office.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze business and customer requirements and translate them into effective SAP BW/BI data flows and reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor SAP BW solutions.
- Work with multiple SAP modules and data sources, with strong experience in SAP Finance.
- Develop and maintain BW data flows using ABAP routines, InfoSources, and enhanced data sources.
- Develop and troubleshoot: Start routines, End routines, Field routines, InfoSources, Data source enhancements
- Perform ABAP debugging and troubleshoot issues in SAP source systems.
- Design and maintain BW Process Chains and monitor production processes.
- Work with Analysis Process Designer (APD) for data processing and analysis.
- Develop BusinessObjects WebI reports from scratch and use available WebI functions effectively.
- Develop and maintain solutions using SAP Analysis for Office (AO).
- Identify and resolve BW process and performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into appropriate BW/BI solutions.
- Support solutions throughout the complete lifecycle, including development, deployment, production monitoring, and support.
Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
SAP BW
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW fundamentals and BW Workbench.
- Standard SAP BW certification is required.
- Strong understanding of LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture) principles.
- Good knowledge of Process Chains and BW monitoring.
- Experience working with multiple SAP modules and data sources.
- Strong experience with SAP Finance data sources is mandatory.
ABAP
- Good hands-on ABAP development knowledge.
- Experience developing BW data flows using:Start routines, End routines, Field routines, InfoSources, Data source enhancements
- Experience enhancing data sources in SAP source systems.
- Strong ABAP debugging experience is mandatory.
BusinessObjects / WebI
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI).
- Ability to create WebI reports from scratch.
- Good understanding of WebI functions and reporting capabilities.
Analysis for Office
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP Analysis for Office.
- Strong ability to use Analysis for Office for complex reporting and analysis requirements.
End-to-End Project Experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP BW/BI projects end-to-end.
- Experience across development, testing, deployment, production monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong ability to translate customer requirements into appropriate BW/BusinessObjects data flows.
