Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical / Data Analyst to support a large-scale SAP data transformation initiative. The role focuses on analyzing SAP raw data structures, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and driving the design of a modern enterprise data platform. You will work closely with the SAP BI team, data product teams, and data engineering teams to analyze hundreds of SAP source tables, define remediation strategies, and provide technical guidance for building the enterprise Silver data layer. This is a highly analytical, data-focused position requiring deep SAP data knowledge and the ability to work independently. Core Responsibilities Partner with SAP BI teams and Data Product teams to analyze SAP source data. Perform detailed analysis of approximately 650 SAP raw tables within project scope. Document data structures, relationships, business meaning, and technical metadata. Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and technical risks. Propose remediation strategies for data transformation and harmonization. Raise technical concerns and recommend improvements to architecture and data design. Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate findings and resolve data issues. Produce functional and technical documentation supporting data engineering activities. Provide guidance to Data Engineers responsible for developing the Silver data layer. Support governance, data lineage, and metadata management initiatives. Participate in technical workshops and architecture discussions. Ensure scalable and maintainable data models are designed according to enterprise standards. Requirements Strong experience working with SAP raw tables and SAP data structures. Deep understanding of SAP ERP data models and table relationships. Experience performing large-scale data analysis and technical documentation. Strong SQL skills for data exploration and validation. Experience working with enterprise data warehouse or lakehouse environments. Ability to analyze complex datasets and independently identify issues and solutions. Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Experience working in Agile delivery teams. Nice to Have Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA. Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS). Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines. Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold). Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries. Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
