SAP Identity Governance Specialist (remote contract)

Description

The SAP Identity Governance Specialist is responsible for the administration, governance, and support of SAP access management and identity lifecycle processes. The role ensures that user access is provisioned, maintained, and reviewed in accordance with security, compliance, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage SAP user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications.

Coordinate and support access reviews, certifications, and audit activities.

Maintain SAP roles, entitlements, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.

Investigate and resolve SAP access-related issues and escalations.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, security teams, and application owners to ensure appropriate access governance.

Support compliance requirements and provide reporting related to SAP access and controls.

Qualifications

Proven experience in SAP Identity and Access Management (IAM) or SAP Security.

Strong understanding of SAP roles, authorization concepts, and access governance.

Experience supporting access reviews, audit requirements, and compliance controls.

Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, Identity Lifecycle Management, and related governance processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
