SAP Integration Engineer (SAP IS-U; S/4HANA)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

As a SAP Integration Engineer at NSC, you will work remotely with fixed working hours from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Vietnam time).

Duration: 10 months

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Engineer to join a large-scale digital payment platform transformation project. The role focuses on integrating a modern microservices-based Payment Hub with an existing SAP ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication between payment services, ERP, and billing systems.

You will work closely with backend engineers, solution architects, and SAP teams to design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable integration services.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and develop integrations between the Payment Hub and SAP IS-U (FICA) for debt inquiry and debt reduction.
• Replace legacy SAP interfaces with modern RESTful APIs while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Integrate with SAP S/4HANA to retrieve financial data, VAT information, and GL mappings required for payment processing and e-Tax Invoice generation.
• Build and maintain middleware services that abstract SAP integrations from internal applications.
• Implement resilient integration patterns, including idempotency, retry mechanisms, circuit breakers, and monitoring.
• Produce clear API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger and collaborate with cross-functional development teams

JOB REQUIREMENT

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of SAP IS-U, particularly the FICA module.
• Good understanding of SAP ERP / S/4HANA Finance (FI, GL, VAT).
• Experience integrating SAP via RFC/BAPI, OData, SAP Gateway, or similar technologies.
• Strong RESTful API development experience (JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Experience with messaging platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) and asynchronous integration.
• Proficient in C# (.NET) or Node.js.
• Familiar with microservices architecture, Git, unit testing, and integration testing.
• 3+ years of SAP integration experience.
• Experience with SAP IS-U integration projects is highly preferred.
• Background in utility, payment, billing, or financial systems is an advantage.

Nice-to-have:

• Basic ABAP knowledge.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Oracle Database experience.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 security practices.
• Thai language proficiency is a plus
