Job Title - SAP IBP o9 Solution & Process Owner
Experience Required - 10+ Years
Timezone - 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST
Work Mode - Remote
Role Overview
A leading global consumer goods brand is looking for a hands-on o9 Solution and Process Owner to take full ownership of their integrated planning environment across the entire landscape — from Dev through to Production. This role exists because they need someone who can bring genuine o9 depth, not just IBP familiarity, and operate with real autonomy across a complex global planning programme.
What You'll Do
Own and govern the o9 and SAP IBP environment landscape across Development, QA, UAT, Pre-Production and Production — keeping everything stable, available and release-ready.
Lead release and deployment coordination across the planning landscape, managing change control, transport scheduling, rollback procedures and deployment validation.
Drive Incident and Problem Management end-to-end — Root Cause Analysis (RCA), vendor escalation, preventative actions — with a focus on reducing repeat failures.
Support integrations between o9, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA and wider enterprise systems, investigating interface failures and data issues as they arise.
Build out proactive monitoring, environment health dashboards, and where possible, automate deployment and operational tasks to improve platform reliability.
Act as the go-to point of contact for global and UK-based stakeholders, coordinating across internal teams, SAP Support and o9 vendors simultaneously.
What We Need
10+ years of SAP IBP experience with strong hands-on o9 expertise — this is not a role for someone who has touched o9 briefly on the side of an IBP engagement.
Proven hands-on experience managing multi-tier SAP and o9 environments across the full lifecycle, including environment refreshes, tenant management and capacity planning.
Solid understanding of o9 platform architecture and administration, not just functional configuration.
Strong Release, Change and Deployment Management experience within complex, multi-vendor landscapes.
Working knowledge of SAP BTP, Integration Technologies and ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Release Management.
Ability to work independently, come up to speed quickly, and manage stakeholders across multiple global time zones from a remote setup in India.
