SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant – Travel Management

Job Description This is a remote position. SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant – Travel Management (Federal Government) First few months Full time Remote and after that Part time. US Citizen East Coast Position Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Travel Management to support a Federal Government implementation. This role will partner with government stakeholders to configure, deploy, and support standard SAP Travel Management capabilities, ensuring compliance with federal travel and financial management requirements. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Travel Management is required; SAP Concur experience alone is not sufficient. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements for travel management processes. Configure SAP S/4HANA Travel Management, including travel requests, expense reporting, reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and travel advances. Support integration with SAP FI, CO, Funds Management (FM), HCM, Payroll, and Workflow. Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW). Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and production deployment. Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver standard SAP solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience. 5+ years of SAP Travel Management configuration and implementation experience. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and multiple full lifecycle implementations. Strong knowledge of SAP FI and Funds Management integration. Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government clients. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust or security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government financial management. SAP S/4HANA or SAP Travel Management certification. Experience with SAP Fiori, Workflow, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Activate. Knowledge of NIST 800-53 security requirements and Authority to Operate (ATO) environments. Desired Skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience leading functional workshops and translating business requirements into SAP solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment.
