SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Procurement Consultant (MM)

Location: 99% Remote 1% Availability to travel to US

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Procurement Consultant to join a high-impact implementation project. This is a functional consulting role focused on service procurement and Lean Services within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver SAP Best Practice solutions.

This is not a traditional SAP MM position centered on material procurement, inventory management, or warehouse management.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA Procurement (MM) implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (required).
• Experience leading SAP Activate Explore / Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Strong business process expertise with the ability to facilitate customer workshops and document business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing consulting experience.

• Purchase Requisitions (PR)
• Purchase Orders (PO)
• Operational Purchasing Contracts
• Flexible Workflow for PR & PO approvals
• Supplier Master (Business Partner)
• Procurement Master Data:
• Purchasing Organizations
• Purchasing Groups
• Material Groups
• Service Masters
• Invoice Verification
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

Integration Experience

Experience with:

• SAP Ariba integration touchpoints:
• Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
• Sourcing
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
• Third-party system integrations (preferred)
• Collaboration with Finance on:
• Account Assignments
• Cost Centers
• WBS Elements
• Invoice Verification

Nice to Have

• Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Project-based procurement.
• Budget-controlled purchasing.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration exposure.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience facilitating customer workshops.
• Ability to guide customers toward SAP Best Practices while challenging non-standard business requirements.
• Self-driven consultant capable of owning the Procurement workstream with minimal supervision.
