Job Description SAP Solutions Architect, Finance The SAP Solution Architect, Finance is responsible for providing incident, change request, and service request support to Application Management Services (AMS) customers via tickets and project work. In this capacity, the SAP Solution Architect is responsible for delivering high customer satisfaction to all customers. Act as both a Leader and a higher-level Consultant on assigned SAP implementation or support projects using advanced industry knowledge to provide SAP project, upgrade, and enhancement support to customers. Duties include configure in multiple SAP modules and/or application areas; document functional specifications; process customer problems and changes in internal Service Desk; lead customer and other teams, and provide project, strategic account, and/or Helpdesk customer support. Duties and Responsibilities: Project, Strategic Account, and /or Helpdesk Customer Support Enhancement and Project Support Ensure consistent delivery of minor and major enhancements, project work including mini-projects, upgrades, roll-outs and other SAP FICO enhancement projects Establish credibility with supported clients as their trusted advisor Effectively use and improve methodology approaches and supporting tools Strategic Account Support Provide long term dedicated SAP FICO support to one or more Strategic Accounts Establish long term trusted relationships with our customers Become an integrated member of the client’s team Thoroughly understand client’s business, culture and priorities Helpdesk Customer Support Monitor, process, and resolve AMS customer’s problems, changes, requests, and incidents Consistent delivery of SAP FICO support to all AMS customer messages Customer Satisfaction Cultivate professional relationships with clients Establish credibility and relationships with client decision makers, know their business, their industry, their culture, and their top priorities Foster an environment of extreme customer focus within the team Be an advocate for customers within NTT Data Business Solutions Timely response and resolution of customer escalations Leadership Lead functional specialists, both onsite and offshore, and assist in configuring and advising the solution. Make recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of the SAP applications, as well as integration with third party systems (and making recommendations on what other complementary software may enhance the SAP investment) Collaborate with Sales, Developers, Consultants, Project Managers, and/or Service Delivery Managers to identify, design, lead solution architecture, and lead implementation for clients Demonstrate cross functional leadership, the ability to look at the end-to-end process and understand how it fits together, and the ability to identify key points of integration Support the professional development of team members Position Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting, Finance or related field 10+ years of SAP FI and CO experience with understanding of the integration points with other SAP modules Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP implementations 5 years leadership experience on SAP implementation projects or production support Must meet or exceed itelligence general consulting competencies of Personal Skills, Methodical Skills, Business Skills and Leadership. Preferred Experience in the following areas: S/4HANA support and/or implementation experience S/4HANA Public Cloud exposure and/or certification FI – Core (GL/New GL/Universal Journal/AR/AP) Parallel Accounting/Document Splitting Fixed Assets Investment Management FSCM – Financial Supply Chain Management (Credit Management, Collections Management, Dispute Management, Cash and Liquidity Management, Treasury and Risk Management) RAR - Revenue Accounting and Reporting CO – Core (Cost Center, Internal Order) Profit Center and Segment Accounting Core Planning and Budgeting Product Cost Controlling Profitability Analysis Project Systems Cost Controlling Reporting Tools (Writer, Painter, Query) Integration points with other functional areas (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Supply Chain Management) Enhancement and user-exits in areas of functional expertise Upgrade, Roll-out, and Implementation projects
