We are looking for an experienced SAP Utilities professional to join a growing product organisation and take genuine ownership of a strategic SAP Utilities product portfolio.
This is a role for someone who knows SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities, understands the realities of the German energy market, and wants to move into a position where their experience directly influences what gets built, how it develops and where the product goes next.
And importantly: you can do this from anywhere in Germany.

🧠 What you'll do
- Own and develop the SAP Utilities product roadmap
- Define and prioritise the product backlog
- Translate customer and business requirements into product features
- Work closely with SAP Utilities experts, architects, developers and customers
- Identify opportunities for innovation across SAP S/4HANA Utilities
- Analyse market and regulatory developments within the German Utilities sector
- Define epics, features and user stories
- Coordinate product releases and priorities
- Act as the bridge between business, technology and customers
- Help shape the future direction of the product
🔎 What we're looking for
You could currently be an:
SAP Utilities Consultant | SAP IS-U Consultant | S/4HANA Utilities Consultant | Functional Lead | Business Analyst | Solution Architect | Stream Lead | Product Owner | Product Manager
We are looking for:
- Strong SAP Utilities / SAP IS-U experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of Utilities business processes
- Experience in requirements management, functional design or product development
- Strong stakeholder-management skills
- Agile / Scrum experience is beneficial
- Fluent German – essential
- Good English
Experience across Meter-to-Cash, Billing, Device Management, Market Communication, EDM, Customer Processes or Energy Data Management would be particularly valuable.
