🏥 About the project

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the biggest public IT projects in Slovakia — the support, maintenance, and development of the IS CIP information system

What the system does:

IS CIP is a central data platform of the Ministry of Health (built on SAS Viya 4.0) that collects, consolidates, and processes data from various sources within the Ministry and its subordinate organizations (healthcare facilities, the Healthcare Surveillance Authority, the State Institute for Drug Control, the National Health Information Center, etc.).

It handles:

• Master data management (MDM)
• Analytics and reporting (BI dashboards)
• Decision-support functions

Objective:

Not just to keep the system running, but to gradually build out further data-source integrations and implement data management processes so that data shared across systems is accurate, complete, and consistent.

🧩 Scope of services:

Flat-rate (fixed) services (ongoing, throughout the contract term):

• Customer support center — Helpdesk
• Service support
• Operations support
• Technical support and maintenance
• Services provided during the transition period (handover/onboarding of the system)

On-demand (order-based) services:

• Change-request support — system modifications and development based on the Ministry's needs (e.g., responding to legislative changes, process changes, or interface changes with other systems)

Technical modules:

• BI/analytics
• Data quality and cleansing
• Integration layer (connections to external systems/databases)
• Access & administration (user management, security, audit)

🎯 Your responsibilities

• Support analytical and statistical data processing activities within the IS CIP platform
• Perform statistical data analysis, risk management, and fraud detection using SAS tools
• Develop and maintain SAS-based solutions for data integration, reporting, and decision support
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes based on legislative or process updates
• Provide technical support and maintenance for the SAS Viya environment

✅ Requirements

• Master's degree (or equivalent)
• Minimum 60 months of professional experience in SAS programming
• Minimum 1 practical experience with statistical analysis or statistical data processing
• Valid SAS Certified Base Programmer certificate issued by an internationally recognised certification or accreditation authority (or equivalent)
• Valid certificate in one of the following areas:
• SAS Viya
• SAS Visual Investigator
• SAS Statistics 1
• Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner
• (issued by an internationally recognised certification or accreditation authority, or equivalent)
• SAS Viya experience is highly preferable (almost mandatory) — candidates with Viya expertise will be prioritized
• Strong English speaking skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
