Tandem Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to help keep our Targeted Care and On Demand services running smoothly. Every day is different. One minute you're coordinating a same-day care request, the next you're helping cover a caregiver call-out, answering caregiver questions, or making sure clients receive the care they've been promised. This isn't a role where you'll spend the day following a script. It's operations at its core—problem-solving, communicating, prioritizing, and making things happen for clients, caregivers, and teammates. What You'll Do Coordinate and adjust caregiver schedules throughout the day Process same-day schedule changes and new care requests Respond to caregiver and client phone calls, texts, and Teams messages Manage caregiver call-outs and secure replacement coverage Monitor caregiver arrivals and visit check-ins Support Targeted Care and On Demand operations throughout the afternoon and evening Serve as backup for the Scheduling Manager during PTO and days off Update payroll time records based on verified visit information Maintain accurate documentation in our CRM Collaborate closely with Care Coordinators and the Operations team to ensure seamless service We're Looking For Someone Who Loves staying busy and solving problems in real time Can prioritize multiple urgent tasks without becoming overwhelmed Communicates confidently with both caregivers and clients Is highly organized and detail-oriented Takes ownership from start to finish—you don't leave loose ends Works well independently while staying connected with a collaborative team Learns technology quickly and enjoys working across multiple systems What You'll Bring At least 2 years of experience in home care scheduling, healthcare operations, staffing, dispatch, or a similar fast-paced operations environment Experience coordinating schedules and handling time-sensitive issues Strong customer service and phone communication skills Comfort working with multiple software platforms simultaneously Previous remote work experience is a plus Experience with CRM and scheduling software is preferred Why You'll Love This Role No two days are the same.
