Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ. It is expected that ‎‎‎‎‎‎an adjunct member models a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage ‎‎‎‎‎‎in an active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed ‎‎‎‎‎‎Christian worldview. Adjuncts should view their teaching, engagement with students, and scholarship as a ‎‎‎‎means to a significant educational ‎‎end. They should strive to employ a variety of techniques for the ‎‎‎‎development of good learning ‎‎conditions, view each student as a unique individual, and insofar as it is ‎‎‎‎possible, provide for individual ‎‎differences, abilities, and interests. ‎ Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1. Teach online graduate courses for Juris Master and Master of Law programs. 2. Provide timely feedback in assessments, grading, email, and other requested formats. 3. Follow the guidelines, policies, and procedures outlined in the Faculty Handbook. Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies 1. J.D. or equivalent degree from an ABA-accredited law school. 2. Recognized academic and professional background. 3. Experience teaching in legal education is preferred, but not required. 4. Enthusiasm for working with online students. Preferred Qualifications: 1.
