About the Role Bristol Myers Squibb Cruiserath is seeking an experienced and motivated Scientist, QC Analytics & Trending to join our Quality Control Shared Services team on a 12-month Fixed term contract/ Tour of Duty. Reporting to the QC Shared Services Project Senior Manager, the successful candidate will provide oversight, technical leadership and coordination of QC Trending, digital scheduling & Analytics activities, while supporting the development and continuous improvement of digital reporting, analytics platforms, and data-driven business processes across the QC organisation. Key Responsibilities Analytical Trending & Method Performance Define, schedule, coordinate, and drive activities required for completion of all Annual Product Quality Reviews (APQRs) and annual trend reports, ensuring timely delivery in line with due dates Oversee and manage the Cruiserath Method Performance Monitoring Programme, incorporating reference standard monitoring and invalid rate tracking Conduct trend assessments in collaboration with relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring outcomes are clearly documented and actioned Manage the addition of new products to the trending programme following successful transfer to the Cruiserath QC teams Approve SOPs, trend data, non-conformance reports, and related documentation in accordance with GMP requirements Functional Leadership Provide functional and technical oversight for QCSS Senior Specialists supporting QC Trending & Analytics activities, ensuring alignment of priorities, processes, and deliverables. Champion a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision making, compliance, and continuous improvement across the function and the wider QC teams. Digital Analytics & Capability Development Support and execute activities in line with QCSAS roadmap for QC Trending, ensuring alignment with site and global procedures. Identify opportunities to enhance analytical data trending, reporting, and decision-making through the application of digital solutions, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools. Provide governance and oversight for QC digital scheduling, analytics platforms and digital tools, ensuring solutions remain compliant, fit for purpose, and aligned across QC functions. Partner with QC global and functional teams, B&IT, and Digital organisations to define requirements, prioritise enhancements, and support implementation of new analytics capabilities. Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of data visualisation, reporting, and performance metrics across the QC organisation. Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external manufacturing sites, attending cross-functional meetings as required Maintain current knowledge of corporate and industry requirements, regulatory guidance, and compliance trends as they relate to QC Trending and aseptic manufacturing Participate in regulatory agency inspections and support inspection readiness activities as required Qualifications & Experience Essential Minimum B.Sc. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a closely related discipline At least 5 years' experience in a GMP laboratory environment, ideally within a biologics setting Minimum 2 years' experience in analytical data trending Demonstrated experience developing and applying analytics, digital reporting, and visualisation solutions using platforms such as Power BI, with the ability to leverage emerging AI and automation technologies to drive operational improvements and business insights. Experience defining digital requirements, leading analytics improvement initiatives, or implementing data-driven solutions within a regulated GMP environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple organisational levels Strong problem-solving, project management, and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent technical writing skills Proven ability to work flexibly within a team environment and adapt to changing business needs Desirable Experience with Smart QC (SQC) platform and/or QC project management Knowledge of biologics QC testing disciplines including Separations, Bioanalytical, Microbiology, or Raw Materials testing Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity Key Competencies Leadership – Ability to motivate and develop a team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment Technical Expertise – In-depth understanding of GMP analytical trending and QC systems Communication – Clear, confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Compliance Focus – Thorough understanding of regulatory expectations and inspection readiness Collaboration – Proven ability to contribute to and lead within a team-based, collaborative environment Why you should apply You will help patients in their fight against serious diseases You will be part of a company that encourages excellence and innovation, respects diversity, develops leaders and values its employees.
