Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Banking Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our technology organization and support Agile delivery across enterprise Wealth Management platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and financial services, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring successful sprint execution and delivery. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions. Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices to improve team maturity and productivity. Identify, manage, and remove impediments to ensure the team can deliver sprint commitments effectively. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and project goals. Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown metrics, and delivery status using Agile reporting tools. Promote continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable process enhancements. Coordinate cross-team dependencies and support release planning activities. Ensure compliance with enterprise Agile standards, governance, and delivery practices. Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing Agile team culture. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 10+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments. Strong experience supporting Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services technology projects. Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across distributed teams. Strong understanding of Agile metrics, sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning. Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification. Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments. Knowledge of Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Brokerage, or Capital Markets platforms. Experience supporting geographically distributed or hybrid Agile teams. Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.
