As a seasonal Tax Research Representative, you will be provided training for using Salesforce and exercising your research and tax knowledge while working flexible hours in a 100% remote position. H&R Block tax professionals and associates can use information provided by TTI to educate themselves and their clients on relevant and timely tax issues. Day to day, you’ll… Utilize Salesforce to manage and track incoming tax law questions from H&R Block tax professionals Review and respond to tax-related inquiries, applying current tax law knowledge to provide accurate information Identify when questions require further analysis and escalate to Tax Research Analysts as needed Communicate primarily through chat, ensuring responses are clear, professional, and timely Gain exposure to a wide range of tax topics by working directly with preparers who are supporting clients Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus, and perform assignments in a highly detailed and accurate manner Demonstrated tax law knowledge with strong analytical and research skills to interpret and solve complex issues 1 year minimum related work experience Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience Why work for us At H&R Block, our purpose is simple: to provide help and inspire confidence in our clients and communities everywhere. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit. Pay Range $18.41 - $27.64/Hr.
