We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Senior Security Consultant for our Houston or Dallas branch to deliver security solutions. You will be working with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender 365 as solutions to deliver threat protection and recommendations to Long View clients. A Day in the Life: Implement industry leading security solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases Provide a technical implementation plan and assist with the configuration of cloud discovery Work as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation Team up with other senior consultants to create and implement proven solutions Support security solution sales activities by qualifying opportunities, shaping proposals, leading technical presentations, responding to RFPs, and providing strategic security guidance Assist with security initiatives related to vulnerability management, remediation, risk reduction, and operational security improvement What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in the delivery of security solutions and consulting 5+ years of industry experience with multi-technology solutions within a diverse business Experience with design and implementation of security controls - endpoint protection, firewalls, hardening on servers Deep understanding of Security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS) Excellence in: Requirements gathering and analysis Documentation and delivery frameworks Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Security Solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Sentinel Strong experience in working with complex solutions Previous experience in Delivering Workshop to end clients Familiarity with IT industry frameworks Self-motivation and drive, always looking for ways to improve skills and stay relevant What Makes You Extra Awesome: MS500 and SC900 certifications Recognized cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP Benefits Long View Systems (LVS) is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible, full-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week.
