Description Security Engineer Cybersecurity Monitoring - Secret Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer – Cybersecurity Monitoring to support Cyber Primes cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Clearance: Active Secret Location: Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA Responsibilities: Monitor DHRA cybersecurity posture using Government-mandated and Government-provided tools and support Tier 3 and shared Tier 2 responsibilities with Cybersecurity Service Providers. Confirm tool configuration, deployment, operability, connectivity, rollups, updates, and compliance with applicable DHRA, DoD, NIST, and DCDC requirements. Report failures, outages, and noncompliance; submit and track tickets and support troubleshooting as required. Review cyber-tool coverage against DHRA asset inventories and support development and monitoring of corrective get-well plans. Develop traceable monitoring metrics, recommend tool enhancements, document baseline changes, and maintain tool-monitoring TTPs. Apply LCAT expertise in security scanning, mitigation, compliance cross-checking, security-system troubleshooting, security engineering, and review of work products for technical correctness and standards compliance. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience. Must be U.S. Citizen A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access. Compensation Range: The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $94,000 to $127,000 annually.
