Security Engineer (SOC) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll bring deep security operations expertise across detection, triage, incident response, automation, and security tool administration to a converged XDR/SIEM/SOAR environment. This is your opportunity to apply hands-on security operations skills at the platform level, working where detection engineering and automation meet real production scale.

What You'll Do:

- Perform detection, triage, and incident response across security operations workflows.

- Administer and configure security tools within SIEM, SOAR, and XDR environments.

- Investigate and respond to endpoint alerts using EDR/XDR platforms.

- Write scripts to automate workflows and build custom integrations and tooling for customers.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Security Operations environments, including detection, triage, incident response, automation, and security tool administration.

- Experience with SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, CrowdStrike Falcon, or equivalent.

- Strong XDR/EDR depth, with Cortex XDR preferred; CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black, or Microsoft Defender XDR also acceptable, including endpoint detection, investigation workflows, alert triage, and response automation.

- Hands-on scripting experience in Python and/or JavaScript for building customer-facing automation, workflows, and custom integrations.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
