Our client is a well-established global independent distributor of electronic components, supporting OEMs, EMS providers and distributors through an extensive international sourcing network. With an established team of over 50 experienced buyers already driving supply, they're investing in their commercial team in Mexico and are looking for a Senior Account Manager to develop customer relationships, create demand and grow revenue across the country's thriving electronics manufacturing sector.

The Role

This is a relationship-led sales role focused on developing OEM, EMS and electronics manufacturing accounts across Mexico.

Rather than relying solely on cold business development, you'll work closely with an established global buying team to uncover opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships and convert sourcing capability into profitable business.

Working remotely, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own territory while playing a key role in the company's continued expansion across Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with OEMs, EMS providers and electronics manufacturers across Mexico.
• Create demand by identifying component supply opportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
• Build long-term partnerships through a consultative sales approach.
• Work closely with a global team of over 50 buyers to deliver competitive sourcing solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through quotation and order fulfilment.
• Consistently achieve revenue and gross profit targets.

About You

To be successful, you'll already have experience within the independent electronic components distribution market and understand the pace, commercial focus and relationship-driven nature of the industry.

You'll have a proven track record of growing customer accounts, developing new opportunities and generating profitable sales within the electronics supply chain.

• Experience within independent electronic components distribution.
• A strong network of OEM, EMS or procurement contacts across Mexico.
• Success in developing customer relationships and creating revenue opportunities.
