Who You Are We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Technical Account Manager - Supply with deep expertise in the mobile, web, and CTV advertising industry to own and grow Verve’s publisher relationships across Japan. This is an individual-contributor role (no direct reports) with sole ownership of Verve’s Japan publisher book of business across Verve’s Supply-Side Platforms, Verve Performance+ (formerly PubNative) and Verve Branding+ (formerly Smaato). The ideal candidate combines strong technical account management skills with a commercial mindset, driving revenue growth, publisher satisfaction, and operational excellence for Japan- based partners. This is a remote role based in Japan. What You Will Do Revenue & Performance Ownership ● Own and drive publisher revenue growth for Japan-based accounts across Verve Performance+ Platform and Verve Branding+ Platform ● Monitor revenue and other key metrics for your Japan portfolio, identifying risks and growth opportunities ● Lead performance optimization initiatives across traffic, demand channels, and ad formats for your accounts Publisher & Client Management ● Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers and partners across Japan ● Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for your assigned Japan accounts ● Partner closely with Commercial teams to support onboarding, expansion, and retention of Japan publishers Technical & Operational Excellence ● Own the end-to-end publisher lifecycle for your accounts, including: ○ Integration kickoff and onboarding ○ SDK / mediation integrations (MAX, LevelPlay, etc.) ○ New inventory enablement ○ SDK version updates ● Ensure high standards in: ○ Discrepancy monitoring and resolution ○ P2P revenue validation ○ Traffic quality and compliance Data & Insights ● Work closely with the Analytics team to develop optimization strategies ● Leverage data analysis to identify performance issues and optimization opportunities ● Translate data into actionable insights for both internal teams and Japan-based partners ● Drive adoption of best practices across monetization strategies Cross-functional Collaboration ● Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Demand teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance ● Partner with the Finance team to ensure timely and successful publisher payments, resolving any billing or payment-related issues ● Provide structured feedback to influence product roadmap based on Japan market needs ● Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability What You Will Bring Must Have ● 5+ years of experience in SSP / AdTech account management or technical account management ● Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, mediation (MAX, LevelPlay), header bidding, and SDK integrations ● Proven experience managing publisher relationships and driving revenue growth ● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ● Native in Japanese and business-fluent English (written and verbal) ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field Nice to Have ● Familiarity with both branding and performance monetization models ● Background in mobile app monetization and SDK-based integrations ● Experience working with publishers in gaming, media, or retail sectors What We Offer Just a few of the benefits waiting for you at Verve: ● A remote-first role based in Japan, with flexibility to work from home ● Recharge with 3 Wellness Days throughout the year, in addition to your annual vacation and public holidays ● Support your mental well-being with our Workplace Mental Health Solution ● Boost your professional knowledge with our annual training budget & internal webinars, and level up your language skills through our German/English classes ● Strengthen team connections while exploring new cultures through our monthly Work&Travel raffle, offering a chance to work from one of our global offices (after 2 years of employment) ● … and even more reasons to join us!
