The Role As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of high-quality financial reporting services across a portfolio of alternative investment clients. Working closely with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for the production and review of financial statements, supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional with experience across hedge funds, private equity funds and other alternative investment structures to further develop their expertise within a collaborative and growing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements Ensure reporting is compliant with US GAAP, IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements Manage audit deliverables and act as a point of contact for external auditors Review working papers and reporting schedules for accuracy and completeness Resolve accounting and financial reporting queries through technical analysis Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely delivery of outputs Support process improvement, automation and reporting efficiency initiatives Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and project work as required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification Experience within financial reporting, fund accounting or alternative investments Strong financial statement preparation and review experience Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS Experience managing external audit processes Understanding of hedge funds, private equity, fund of funds or similar structures Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with reporting automation, Power BI or AI-enabled tools would be advantageous
