Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team. You will take hands-on ownership of core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities, while contributing to process improvements and supporting the broader finance function as the company grows. This role is well suited to a technically strong accounting professional who works independently, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-moving consumer products environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and internal management reports
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts
• Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support inventory accounting, cost of goods analysis, and margin reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, sales tax, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors, providing schedules and supporting documentation
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
• Support eCommerce and multi-channel revenue reconciliation across wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and REGEN Retail channels

Required Qualifications

• 4 or more years of progressive accounting experience, including a senior or staff accountant role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
• Solid understanding of inventory and cost accounting in a product-based business
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote setting
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer products, personal care, beauty, cosmetics, or a related product-based industry
• Familiarity with eCommerce, direct-to-consumer, or wholesale distribution accounting
• Exposure to multi-channel revenue reconciliation and sales tax compliance across multiple states
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or active CPA candidate
