Salary Range: $105,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing, mission driven organization. In this fully remote role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and clarity of our financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong technical accounting skills, and is committed to delivering high ‑ quality work that strengthens organizational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage month end, quarter ‑ end, and year ‑ end close processes with accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and develop and maintain a system of account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Standard Operating Policies (SOP). Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance reporting quality through effective use of financial systems and automation. Manage Travel & Expense processes and related accounting ensuring compliance with Travel policy. Maintain and evaluate general ledger activity to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and in accordance with SOP. Assist with annual audits (internal and external) by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Work closely with Assistant Controller and outside tax advisors in preparing support schedules required for US and foreign tax returns. Collaborate cross functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Leadership on financial matters and business decisions. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing clear, data driven financial insights. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred. 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP consolidated financial reporting, foreign exchange, and related technical accounting principles for SaaS companies. Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite, Avalara, Concur, or Expensify). Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data. Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, remote-first team.
