Senior Accountant

T-SEZ , our accounting and business consulting firm based in Peristeri, Attica , is looking for a Senior Accountant for full-time employment, to manage and oversee the accounting cycle of a portfolio of businesses. Key Responsibilities: Maintaining single-entry and double-entry accounting records for a portfolio of clients Recording accounting documents and performing reconciliations (banks, cash, customers, and suppliers) Preparing and submitting tax filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, VIES, Intrastat, municipal taxes, and income tax Monitoring and transmitting invoices through myDATA , resolving any discrepancies Preparing financial statements and internal management reports Managing statutory obligations related to GEMI and the Bank of Greece Communicating with clients to collect documentation, provide updates, and offer accounting and tax support Participating in advisory projects and strategic tax planning Mentoring and supporting junior members of the accounting team Monitoring changes in tax legislation and keeping the team informed Bachelor’s degree from a University or Technological Institute in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting department or accounting firm Strong knowledge of accounting and tax procedures Experience with ERP systems and the myDATA platform Good command of MS Office , especially Excel Strong organizational skills, consistency, and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills Competitive compensation package, depending on experience Company laptop Company mobile phone (device and SIM card) Possibility of a hybrid working model Opportunities for career growth and continuous professional development Next steps: If this role sounds like a good fit, we encourage you to submit your application.
