Senior Active Directory Migration Engineer (MX, COL - remote)

A TeamStation AI partner in the enterprise IT services sector is looking for an Active Directory Consolidation & Intune Migration Engineer to join a large-scale infrastructure consolidation project.

This is a hands-on migration role, not an Active Directory administration or support position. We are looking for an engineer with proven experience delivering enterprise migration projects, including Active Directory domain consolidation, VMware virtual machine migrations, and Microsoft Intune deployments.

What You'll Do

• Migrate users, servers, and virtual machines from a legacy Active Directory domain into a consolidated Active Directory environment.
• Execute Microsoft Intune migrations for Windows endpoints previously managed through on-premises Active Directory.
• Perform VMware virtual machine migrations across Active Directory environments.
• Automate migration activities using PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues involving authentication, DNS, Group Policy, and user access.
• Coordinate migration activities with the internal infrastructure team and communicate progress, risks, and blockers.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering Active Directory migration projects.
• Proven experience consolidating or migrating Active Directory domains in enterprise environments.
• Experience migrating Windows devices from on-prem Active Directory to Microsoft Intune.
• Experience migrating VMware virtual machines between Active Directory environments.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for migration and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to Active Directory migrations, including DNS, Group Policy, authentication, and access issues.
• Experience working in hybrid environments using Microsoft Entra ID.

Nice to Have

• Experience with M&A or enterprise infrastructure consolidation projects.
• Experience supporting parallel network or firewall migration projects.
• Experience working across multiple data centers or co-location environments.

This position is focused on migration and consolidation work. Candidates whose experience is primarily Active Directory administration, user support, or routine infrastructure operations without enterprise migration experience are unlikely to be a fit.
