Description Position Summary: Provides administrative and operations support to the Executive Director of Board Relations and Senior Manager of Community Organizing & External Relations (COER). Opportunity to work cross-organizationally in a dynamic environment that involves liaising with UJA’s senior professional team and senior lay leadership. Major Responsibilities: Assist with the operations of several high-level leadership bodies—including the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and President's Advisory Council—by managing the fiscal year calendaring, maintaining data integrity, and providing logistical support for meetings (i.e. room reservations, set-up and breakdown, materials prep, attendance entry, etc.) Liaise with internal and external teams who support the President and Chair of the Board, handling relevant internal/external requests and inquiries Support all aspects of Board stewardship and governance, including help with crafting Board related communication, maintenance of Board members’ data and demographics, and assistance with various aspects of the Board nominations process Manage correspondence for President, including donor acknowledgement letters, condolence notes, and event honoree notes Assist with the execution of COER’s Civic Ambassadors fellowship program and neighborhood tables Assist with the launch of COER’s lobbying and advocacy missions to Albany Support special projects and/or convenings as needed Skills/Experience: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills Strong prioritization skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, manage competing deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate across departments and build relationships with diverse stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally Polished, professional presence Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and general understanding of AI tools such as CoPilot and ChatGPT BA degree and minimum 1-2 years related experience Salary Information The salary for this role is $55,000/year. Reporting Line: This role reports to the Executive Director, Leadership Engagement and Board Relations, and is a hybrid position, with a set three days/week in office.
