Responsibilities Own the architecture of TeamViewer's AI platform, defining how internal and third-party agents discover context, access tools, and execute actions across TeamViewer ONE. Define the platform architecture for agent orchestration, tool integration, context management, memory, and trust boundaries. Establish standards for evaluating, monitoring, and improving AI systems, including observability, quality measurement, and production tracing. Drive architectural decisions around model selection, routing, fallback strategies, vendor dependencies, and cost optimization. Partner with Security to design safeguards for AI systems, including permission controls, tenant isolation, auditability, and protection against prompt-based attacks. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to engineering teams during planning and delivery. Lead architecture and design reviews and maintain clear, accessible documentation. Identify and mitigate architectural risks related to scalability, reliability, model behavior, vendor dependencies, licensing, and compliance. Requirements 7+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering complex, large-scale systems. Deep expertise in AI and agent-based architectures, including tool-using agents, retrieval systems, context engineering, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation methodologies. Strong hands-on development experience in Python and TypeScript, with familiarity across technologies such as Java, Kotlin, React, C++, and C#. Experience bringing AI-powered products into enterprise production environments, including security, compliance, multi-tenancy, reliability, and cost management. Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable design patterns. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders and drive decisions across teams. Experience with software licensing, open-source compliance, and risk management for AI technologies and third-party dependencies. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
