Senior AI Software Engineer

Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one or more trusted hiring partners for a remote Senior AI Software Engineer opportunity.

In this role, you'll contribute to the development of next-generation Artificial Intelligence systems by working on software engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI evaluation, repository validation, machine learning infrastructure, and data-driven engineering projects. You'll collaborate on technically challenging work that helps improve the performance, reasoning, and reliability of advanced AI models while solving complex real-world engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include one or more of the following:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and backend systems.
• Build, review, and optimize production-quality code while following engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with APIs, cloud services, databases, repositories, and modern development tools.
• Contribute to AI model evaluation, repository validation, benchmarking, and code quality initiatives.
• Develop scalable solutions for machine learning, data processing, and AI-powered applications.
• Debug complex technical issues and improve software performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, and quality teams while maintaining high development standards.
