Role As an AI Product Owner, you are the connective tissue between a high-velocity engineering team and key business stakeholders. You operate at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring that AI solutions are not only technically sound but also business relevant and operationally viable. You will focus on orchestrating delivery, aligning stakeholders, and maintaining a strong project cadence. While you won’t write code, you will actively engage in technical discussions with AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers/Modellers, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Security teams, challenge assumptions, and ensure that AI & Data engineering decisions are grounded in real-world business needs. Your responsibilities will include: Act as the primary interface between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment on goals, scope, and priorities Translate business needs into structured product and project requirements Challenge and validate technical decisions to ensure feasibility, scalability, and business impact Protect engineering teams from ad-hoc requests and scope creep, maintaining focus and delivery velocity Own and manage the project “heartbeat” (planning, prioritization, resource management, progress tracking, and reporting) Drive delivery for the entire AI product lifecycle (PoC, MVP, Production), ensuring robustness and scalability of AI solutions Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams, including IT, Business and external stakeholders Identify risks early and proactively manage dependencies and trade-offs Ensure continuous alignment between product vision and execution Who you are Technically fluent: Solid AI & data foundation; can challenge engineering decisions constructively Strategic : Connects technical work to business goals and long-term value Organized : Brings structure to ambiguity and ensures consistent execution Communicator : Bridges technical and non-technical audiences with confidence Pragmatic : Balances perfection with progress to keep teams moving Requirements Stakeholder & Communication Manages senior stakeholders, facilitates discussions, resolves conflicts Influences without authority; communicates clearly up to executive level Technical & AI/ML Understanding Strong technical foundation; able to challenge engineering decisions constructively Understands the full ML lifecycle (exploration, development, validation, deployment, monitoring) and AI project phases (PoC, MVP, production) Translates technical trade-offs into business implications and connects model metrics to KPIs Product & Delivery Excellence Track record of delivering AI/ML or data-driven products from prototype to production Prioritizes based on business impact and technical feasibility; manages ambiguity effectively Experienced in Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and delivery cadence Operational & Organizational Strength Creates structure in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with strong attention to detail Manages timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams Balances team focus with stakeholder responsiveness while maintaining speed and quality Profile 4+ years in project management + 4+ years in AI Master's or higher in CS, AI, Data Science, or related field Domain exposure to formulation, chemistry, or F&F industry (preferred) English fluent; French strongly preferred What we offer A competitive compensation package A yearly education budget to steep your learning curve A yearly sport budget because a fit body leads to a fit mind A flexible working culture because your work-life balance matters to us A position that enables you to have an impact on 1’000s of people, and the whole company's growth.
