We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive Senior Analyst with deep expertise in Australian accounting frameworks to deliver high-level tax and financial services to complex client groups. You will serve as a technical go-to expert-navigating complex tax matters (Division 7A, CGT, FBT), driving portfolio engagement, and eagerly stepping up to support and mentor team members whenever needed.
Your Impact
Advanced Australian Tax & Compliance: Navigate complex Australian tax frameworks to prepare financial statements, activity statements, and returns across corporate and trust structures-expertly resolving Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and SBE concessions.
Proactive Team Leadership: Eagerly take initiative to assist, coach, and guide team members as needs arise; review working papers and provide constructive feedback to elevate overall work quality.
Management Reporting & Strategic Advisory: Prepare periodic management reports, budgets, and forecasts while actively contributing to tax strategy and planning sessions for high-net-worth and multi-entity groups.
Portfolio & Workload Management: Manage complex engagement workflows, deliver on target chargeable hours (1,400 hours), maintain strict budget control, and communicate early regarding project milestones.
Systems & Process Efficiency: Leverage Xero, Practice Ignition, NowInfinity, GreatSoft, and practice software to optimize accounting processes and enforce sound policies.
What You Bring
The Experience: 3 to 5 years of public practice accounting experience with a deep, proven background in Australian Accounting frameworks.
Qualifications: CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion.
Technical Tax Mastery: High-level expertise in navigating complex Australian tax issues, including Division 7A loans, CGT events, FBT returns, and SBE concessions.
Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Xero and exposure to Australian practice management tools (e.g., Practice Ignition, NowInfinity, GreatSoft).
Mindset & Communication: Eager, initiative-driven team player who steps up to support colleagues; excellent verbal and written English communication skills; strong problem-solving ability under pressure.
