Opportunity Type: Regular Summary: This Senior Analyst will work with affiliates that have chosen to end their relationship with HFHI, either through voluntary disaffiliation/dissolution or affiliates that have been identified for disciplinary disaffiliation. This position assists affiliate leaders with name change or corporate dissolution, as appropriate, to ensure that the work occurs in a legal manner and in a way as to not negatively impact the Habitat for Humanity brand. Key Responsibilities: Senior Analyst, Compliance Solutions (Remote) Help Strengthen Habitat’s Mission Across the Network Every Habitat for Humanity affiliate plays a vital role in helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. As a Senior Analyst, Compliance Solutions , you’ll partner with affiliate leaders during some of their most complex organizational transitions, providing thoughtful guidance, practical solutions, and compassionate support every step of the way. This is a unique opportunity to combine project management, relationship building, analytical thinking, and problem-solving to help protect and strengthen Habitat’s global ministry. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to Habitat affiliates by: Managing affiliate disaffiliation and dissolution cases from start to finish, partnering with affiliate leadership to develop comprehensive action plans that support successful organizational transitions. Identifying liabilities, coordinating asset transfers (including active mortgage portfolios), and helping ensure a smooth and compliant process. Researching receiving entity options and coordinating referrals to pro bono legal counsel while providing ongoing guidance, reminders, and support throughout each case. Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining case data to identify trends, strengthen reporting, and support strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with Compliance Solutions teammates to provide consistent guidance throughout the disaffiliation and dissolution process. Evaluating and improving systems, tools, and workflows to enhance the affiliate experience and increase operational efficiency. Administering Habitat for Humanity International’s disciplinary action protocols in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5 years of experience with Habitat for Humanity or a similar nonprofit organization. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management, organization, and time management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships while navigating complex or sensitive situations. Compassion, patience, persistence, professionalism, and sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in: Paralegal, legal assistant, or similar experience supporting real estate, restructuring, or bankruptcy matters. Nonprofit organizational risk assessments. Conflict resolution or mediation. Hiring Range: The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance.
