The Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS) team, in Credit and Fraud Risk Management is responsible for optimizing risk decisions through the lifecycle by identifying, testing, and integrating internal data with external data assets. The team also manages data strategy, and relationships with key third party data providers and contribution policy with external data partners (including credit bureaus) to support risk products in prospecting, new accounts, customer management, and collection practices. The incumbent would be part of the Enterprise Data Strategy team based in Gurgaon and reporting into Manager – Global Account Monitoring (GAM) Strategy & Product Management. This position will be involved in analytics related to Bureau/Third Party Data strategy for Customer Management function through Structured and Risk based principles. This will involve working closely with Internal Business partners/Stakeholders and External Data Providers to drive foundational data assets and transformation. Support new portfolio, product/feature launches; accelerate new data explorations and expansions with a global perspective Support Product Management function driving third-party data integrations. This would involve steering requirement grooming, prioritization, and testing for all external data ingestion. Improve data-usage economics and continuously monitor coverage/data freshness and identify opportunities for improvement in international markets Build data driven insightful analytics to identify opportunities in bureau processes or expansive / unexplored usage of bureau products in downstream risk models and strategies Also drive analytics, research, and capabilities development supporting regulated data (e.g. credit bureau information) and non-regulated data (e.g. aggregated or vertically compiled) to support Change Management Evaluating existing and new data sources to identify opportunities for customized and optimized data solutions that address business needs Periodically update senior leadership on progress on key initiatives Partnering with our compliance and legal organizations to ensure all new developments are acceptable within the legal and regulatory framework of Credit Bureau reporting and credit monitoring External perspective on competitor bureau data strategy and benchmark with internal strategy 1-3 years of experience in analytics/credit risk or related work experience Master's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics Computer Science or Economics) from a top tier institute Understanding of credit card business economics Strong quantitative, analytical, project management and structured problem-solving skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, HIVE & EXCEL Understanding of Third Party Data and Working knowledge of Credit Card business, Risk and Financial Management platforms is desired Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and on aggressive time-lines Effective team player and be able to manage multiple projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong relationship management and negotiation skill Demonstrated ability to drive innovation
