Job Description : Summary The Site Reliability Analyst will be responsible for the stability, accessibility and performance of production application environments which support Distribution Management and Transportation Management operations. Essential Functions Analyzing and monitoring production application environments with the purpose of continuous improvement of operational performance and efficiency Provide world-class support to Ryder operations focusing on maintaining application environment stability, training and on-site support when applicable Responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of level three technical incidents while adhering to departmental procedures Partner with the Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner Facilitate technical meetings to drive the resolution of issues and determine root cause Additional Responsibilities Proactively learn new technologies to support applications as they become part of the Ryder portfolio Work closely with Project and Team Managers to provide status and other required information Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Analytical/technical ability and problem solving/troubleshooting skills Strong oral and written communications skills Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors) to produce high quality work with minimal supervision Quickly learn new applications and new technologies Ability to effectively and clearly communicate to the end-user community, tailoring the communication style/method to the specific need, and be able to discuss technical solutions in a non-technical manner (preferred) Organization skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively (preferred) Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices (preferred) Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in transportation, logistics and computer science or business Three (3) years or more in IT, preferably in transportation and/or logistics preferred Two (2) years or more in providing onsite/remote technical support preferred Two (2) years or more in warehouse and/or transportation management applications preferred Travel 30-40% DOT Regulated None Job Category Application Development, Delivery & Support Our Culture & Commitment : At Ryder, you’re trusted to make an impact—while enjoying room to grow and having a voice that’s heard. Compensation Information : The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
