Senior Associate (5+ PQE) - Catastrophic Injury/Large Loss

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join our growing Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value claims within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The Role Our Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team handles every stage of a claim—from liability investigations and policy coverage through to quantum assessment across all levels of Multi-Track work. You will: Work closely with experienced Partners on complex, high-value, and sensitive cases Act for leading insurer and corporate clients Gain exposure to a broad range of claims including motor, employer’s liability, and public liability Play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding, award-winning team offering a modern, flexible and supportive working environment. Key Responsibilities Assist Partners on a varied caseload of catastrophic injury and large loss claims Conduct investigations, including: Taking witness statements Reviewing and interpreting medical records and reports Liaise directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice Ensure compliance with client SLAs and MI requirements Proactively manage files and adhere to court timetables Draft legal documents, pleadings, and client reports Handle interlocutory proceedings and CCMCs Support Partners in client development and business growth initiatives Contribute to marketing and business development activities About You We are looking for someone who: Has 5+ years’ PQE (guideline only) with strong catastrophic injury / large loss experience Possesses solid personal injury litigation expertise Thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment Enjoys tackling complex legal issues and developing technical knowledge Demonstrates a strong commitment to client service excellence What We Offer A supportive and collaborative team culture High-quality, complex work with leading clients Opportunities for career progression and development Access to a wide range of learning and development programmes A firm that is genuinely committed to its people and their success The Firm When you work at Clyde & Co, you join a team of 500 partners, 2,400 lawyers, 3,200 legal professionals and 5,500 people in nearly 70 offices and associated offices worldwide.
