Job Summary Member of NAMCO team responsible for analysis of and buy/sell recommendations on investment offerings of middle-market Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), private-credit structured transactions, asset-backed securities, ABF and residential whole loans. Responsible for portfolio surveillance and portfolio management of existing portfolio. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Support the Structured Investments Group for sourcing and underwriting new investments including both public and private structured securities, CFOs, rated feeders and other bespoke structures Monitor existing investment holdings by performing regular financial and qualitative reviews to detect changes in credit quality in an effort to minimize losses Work closely with the Portfolio Management Group to ensure investment commitments meet portfolio requirements / guidelines Support the management of troubled and watch-list assets and recommend sales as appropriate to reduce possible losses Support the presentation of transactions to Investment Review Committee Support hedging efforts as needed Work closely with internal and external legal counsel to document commitments and related maintenance documents Meet all internal and external reporting requirements as mandated by management Develop and maintain 3 rd party manager relationships of SMAs, facilitate the structuring of new SMAs and other mandates Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience in structured securities, particularly CLOs, private credit and other ABS Confidence in making buy/sell recommendations with logical support and documentation Bachelor or master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or other related field(s) preferred. CFA designation a plus Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Proficient with computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. Proficient in transaction monitoring/modeling systems including Intex and others Comfortable dealing with people with a wide range of backgrounds (i.e., From sophisticated CEOs, CFOs at due diligence meetings to relatively unsophisticated staff members) Benefits and Compensation Nassau offers medical, dental, vision, and dependent life insurance benefits to employees' spouses and dependent children.
