Senior Automation QA with Java, Remote, BG

Job Description This is a remote position. Date: 13th July For one of our clients we are looking for Senior Automation QA with Java, Remote You will be: •You have at least 5 years of experience in software test automation. •You have a good knowledge of Java. •You can structure, design, and plan test scenarios and test cases. •You are familiar with RestAssured. •You have experience in backend test automation. •You have knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). •You can design and implement a test automation framework. •You know best practices in test automation and can conduct reviews of test frameworks. •You are familiar with web technologies. •You are familiar with web Spring. •You are eager to learn and share knowledge. •You are characterized by independence, meeting deadlines, and strong analytical skills. •You can work with very little documentation. •You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and understand how automated tests integrate into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes. •You have exposure to AI-powered tooling for test generation, flaky test triage, coverage analysis, or test deduplication. •Ability to evaluate and integrate AI tools pragmatically into an existing automation workflow. Your profile: •Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery. Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: •Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work. •Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
