Senior Backend Developer

We are working with a global technology leader on a high-profile international programme focused on building scalable, data-driven applications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to modern backend architecture, processing complex geospatial and temporal data within a collaborative engineering environment.

The Role

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices
• Develop data pipelines for large-scale analytics platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, and cloud-native development
  
  

What You'll Need

• Strong commercial experience with Python and FastAPI
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice architectures
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server) and Neo4j graph databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Eligibility: Must be a citizen of a NATO member country and currently reside within a NATO member country.
