About the Role We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Gothenburg. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our emergency care solutions. Responsibilities Design and implement robust backend services and APIs for emergency care applications Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and domain experts to deliver high-quality solutions Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy Maintain and improve existing codebases with a focus on quality and security Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development Requirements Solid experience in backend development with .NET and C# Good understanding of React.js and how backend services integrate with modern frontend frameworks Hands-on experience with Jira, and working in Scrum or other agile methodologies Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams Fluent in Swedish and English Nice to have Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR, OpenEHR, and related data models Experience designing and building scalable EMR systems or other clinical applications Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, including deployment and monitoring tools We offer A meaningful role in a company that improves emergency care in Sweden and the Nordics Hybrid model: 3 days at our Gothenburg office, 2 days remote Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for professional development An inclusive and collaborative team culture Department Response Locations Göteborg Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time Göteborg About Omda Omda is the leading provider of specialised software for healthcare in the Nordics with a growing presence in Europe, North America and the Pacific region.
