A platform built for prevention managers who need to oversee complex activity environments. Role Summary We are looking for a skilled backend developer with extensive PHP experience who is also comfortable contributing to frontend development when needed. The ideal candidate understands modern software architecture, enjoys working in collaborative and agile environments, and is motivated by solving complex problems with clean, maintainable code. They are also comfortable working with legacy code and helping to evolve it. They will be part of a cross-functional team working on scalable B2B applications, contributing to both backend and frontend services. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP 8+ and Symfony or similar frameworks. Implement clean, testable, and scalable code following hexagonal architecture and DDD principles. Collaborate with the team to design and evolve software architecture across our monolith and microservices. Work with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and event-driven systems (Rabbit, Kafka, etc.) to design efficient data models and integrations. Contribute to frontend development using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery when required. Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as part of the daily development workflow, contributing to our spec-driven and AGENTS. md -based practices. Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and support continuous integration and delivery. Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure high software quality. Work closely with product and design teams within an agile environment. Troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective, long-term solutions Qualifications Required Extensive experience with PHP 8+ and Symfony or similar frameworks (Laravel, etc.). Solid understanding of MySQL and relational database design, including performance tuning. Strong knowledge of hexagonal architecture, DDD, SOLID principles, and clean code practices. Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing (PHPUnit, Behat or similar). Proficiency with Git and modern version-control workflows (trunk-based or GitFlow). Experience working with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar). AI fluency: effective use of AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT or similar) in day-to-day development — including prompt design, context engineering, reviewing AI-generated code critically, and knowing when not to use them. Comfortable working in agile methodologies. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and team-oriented mindset. Nice to have Hands-on experience with React/Angular/Vue or similar and TypeScript. Familiarity with Elasticsearch and search-driven architectures. Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ). Experience modernizing legacy monoliths toward microservices. Experience in B2B or enterprise-level applications. Deploy and operate services on AWS, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and observability practices. Contributions to internal tooling, developer experience, or AI-assisted development practices.
