Now we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and evolve backend services that power our core products. Our stack: Main language: Java 17 DB: MongoDB / ClickHouse / Redis Others: Apache Kafka / Kafka Streams / Elasticsearch / OpenSearch (k-NN) / Airflow What You Will Be Doing: Design and develop core platform components, services, and shared libraries that power every product team across the company. Build foundational infrastructure that enables product teams to deliver features faster while maintaining consistency, reliability, and security. Develop security-critical services for protecting sensitive data, secure access, and encryption. Design and optimize high-load distributed systems for image and video processing. Improve the performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of mission-critical platform services. Shape our observability platform by evolving monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting capabilities. Plan and execute large-scale, zero-downtime data migrations. Expand and improve our multi-region infrastructure to meet latency, availability, and data-residency requirements. Drive architectural decisions and take ownership of platform initiatives from design to production. Work on a diverse set of technically challenging problems spanning distributed systems, infrastructure, security, and developer productivity. About You: Strong experience with backend development (Java, databases, distributed systems) Confident in system design and building scalable, production-ready solutions Able to work independently and take full ownership of complex tasks Understand performance, reliability, and best practices for backend services Experience working in a product-driven engineering team Comfortable collaborating with other teams and contributing to shared codebases What We Offer: Remote-first, trust-based culture.
