Senior Backend Engineer – Identity Platform at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build authorization services and API middleware in Ruby on Rails that power multiple downstream systems, applying strong backend engineering practices to one of the most security-critical parts of the stack. Designing secure integrations across modern and legacy identity standards, you'll ensure that authentication and authorization work reliably as systems evolve. What You'll Do

• Build authorization services and API middleware in Ruby on Rails for multiple downstream systems.
• Design and implement secure integrations using modern identity standards.
• Migrate legacy authorization models to modern, secure architectures.
• Ensure backend services are reliable, secure, and maintainable at scale.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing secure integrations using Auth0, PostgreSQL, SAML, OIDC, enterprise SSO, and SCIM.
• Background migrating from legacy authorization models to modern identity architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
