Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

About Tamm Tamm is the all-in-one platform for selling online in Saudi Arabia. Sellers get everything they need in one place: a storefront, payments, ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing, and delivery. And because we run our own print-on-demand factory in Dammam, anyone can launch a brand from scratch with no inventory and no capital. What you'll build You'll work across our backend, a TypeScript / NestJS microservices platform (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, on AWS and Kubernetes) that powers storefronts, orders, payments, products, fulfillment, and our store builder. Real systems at real volume, built for aggressive scale to handle millions of orders.

• Design and own services and APIs used across web and mobile
• Build the commerce backbone: orders, payments, products, fulfillment integrations
• Wire AI into the backend; we build AI-native and use it heavily, day to day
• Own your work end to end: design it, build it, ship it, keep it reliable

What we're looking for

• Strong Node.js / TypeScript backend experience
• Solid with PostgreSQL / SQL and clean API design
• Comfortable in event-driven or microservice architectures
• You build with AI, not around it
• Ownership mindset: you ship end to end, not ticket by ticket

Nice to have NestJS, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, Kubernetes; payments or e-commerce experience; Arabic.
